Wow, the year is almost over. I would like to thank you for all of your business this past year. We have been blessed with continued growth and it is due to you, our great customers, that we were able to do so.

If you have called into the office recently you may have been greeted by Charity. She is our new office manager and we are excited to have her on our team.

The hackers are at it again. We have seen a rise in the number of automated attacks on our clients that have remote access enabled using Terminal Services. As a precaution we have audited all of our clients subscribed to our TekProtect support plans to ensure that they are secure. If you have an older Terminal Server or a Microsoft Small Business server and do not have a TekProtect Support Agreement with us, you could be at risk. Please give us a call and Charity can schedule an audit of your remote access server/terminal server.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The holiday season is a time of merriment for one and all. That includes scammers, fraudsters, and thieves too. It's the best time of the year for them to do their worst.

The few dollars in your wallet have little or no value to these criminals. However, your driver's license, SSN, debit cards, and credit cards have far more value than you can imagine.

How to take a screenshot on iPhones and Android Phones
"Just take a screenshot and send it to me," someone asks you. Maybe you know how to do this on your computer, but without a dedicated "print screen" button on a phone, it's not as intuitive on your mobile device. How do you do this? Don't worry — it's easy! If you have an iPhone, do the following:
  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button (you can find this on the top or side of your phone).
  2. At the same time, press and release the Home button.
  3. Find your screenshot in the Photos app > Albums > Camera Roll.

Business Continuity Tip:
Prepare the Office for Holiday Closures

It seems like just yesterday we were wrapping up the lazy days of summer. And now, Thanksgiving and Christmas are just weeks away.

Take a few minutes over the next week to prepare for holiday office closures and get set for a stress free holiday with these tips, including:
  • Make a checklist of all equipment that should be turned off
  • Check your delivery schedules
  • Notify your clients ahead of time
  • And more...
And remember, don't wait until the last minute. Some staff may take off early or have limited schedules starting soon.
