General Description

As a Sales Operations Specialist based in the Medford, Oregon area, your mission is to help keep our clients up to date on the latest technology and thrilled with our services. You will be supporting relationships with both new and old clients, ensuring we are always providing the best product and service possible. Your success will be dependent upon your ability to stay organized, on-track, and in communication with your teams. Your polished written and verbal communication skills will be important when engaging by email and phone.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Receive email and telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers, sales reps, or various internal departments.
  • Work directly with Sales Representatives and other resources to help with lead and opportunity management, to keep all relevant data and information updated for forecasting.
  • Take an active role in weekly sales and marketing meetings.
  • Support the sales team in growth of our primary territories.
  • Review and publish weekly sales reports and ensure deals are updated.
  • Assist in accessing vendor portal reports and data collection.
  • Actively work with various teams to ensure all the required sales documents are compiled so that the order process may be initiated.
  • Responsible for working in vendor & distributor tools to complete the registrations for quotes/deals, and to verify costs.
  • Assist the Sales team in getting the data required to complete quotes and presentations.
  • Frequent interaction with sales, presales, finance, and service delivery to assist in high quality customer outcomes related to sales.
  • Assist in CRM database management and reporting
  • Assist in sales and marketing event planning and execution

Qualifications:

The following are the minimum qualifications and requirements which are required for this role:

  • 2 years’ experience in closely related sales support or related end user sales assignments
  • 2-year degree from an accredited institution.
  • Possesses a Sales biased mindset and understands how to positively impact Sales and order completion velocity.
  • Product and recurring bookings experience are preferred or proven knowledge in other similar positions.
  • Knowledge of vendor partner programs and processes.
  • Working understanding of an order process, ensuring when quotes are being built that all content is captured, and orders are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint experience.
  • Knowledge of standard business processes sales processes or ability to quickly learn.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving/dispute resolution skills required.
